PROJECT “They are the future”

We invite all interested innovators, startups, socially engaged companies, successful young freelancers and organizations to get involved in the implementation of the project ‘They are the future’

The project “They are the future” was launched with the aim of organizing a kind of platform for the promotion and improvement of innovation and positive values. The project seeks to establish a network of successful individuals and organizations that offer useful solutions in various fields, thus contributing to health, environmental stability, energy efficiency, sustainable development and quality of life in the community.

hub unipromet makes its own resources available so that everyone, especially young people, can gain importance, and thus the place they deserve in the public space. The goal is for all of them to be even more successful in what they do in order to be an example and motivation for others.

Already in the first month, a series of workshops is planned with the aim of providing support to all those who want to contribute to the improvement of positive values.

Thus, on May 22, 2023, Greens doo, the first company for the production of micro-vegetables, herbs and edible flowers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was presented as part of the project.

Greens is the first business in Bosnia and Herzegovina formed according to the principles of urban agriculture. They produce top quality herbs that are grown exclusively on organic principles in urban conditions. In the process of production and distribution, an important role is played by people with disabilities who have a keen sense of micro details, which makes them experts in this profession.

Greens is a social business and is an excellent model for the inclusion of people with disabilities in the process of employment and professional education, and at the same time it meets the needs of modern people for healthy food. The project is non-profit, which means that all profits are reinvested in the production and growth of the company.
It is a chance for a new life for people with disabilities. Last year, 60 people with disabilities went through education on urban organic plant production. Greens employs 8 people with disabilities during the season, 3 full-time and 5 in casual seasonal jobs.

Their high-quality organic products are available on the markets of Sarajevo, Tuzla and Banja Luka, and they will soon open the market of Mostar.

Greens currently produces 23 types of herbs, spices and edible flowers, including 10 types of microvegetables, 8 types of herbs, 5 types of edible flowers, 3 types of sprouts. Greens has an organic certificate that confirms that their products are produced according to organic principles.

In the continuation of the project, a large number of positive stories of young innovators, scientists, researchers, socially responsible individuals and companies await us.

We invite all those interested to apply via e-mail: hub@unipromet.com.
